Goals?

Have you ever looked at something and thought to yourself, I’ll never be able to do that, or how is  that possible or worse, underestimated your ability? Goals are important because they help us focus  and stay on track. Another way of looking at it is this: goals help us by creating vision, discipline and purpose to what we want to achieve. Sometimes, what holds us back is being afraid to go after what  we want due to the fear of failure. However, as you approach the last 3 months of 2017, I would  encourage you to start thinking about what you’ve accomplished so far in 2017 and what you intend  to accomplish this year -remember those New Year resolutions?- and start to focus on getting back on  track to what God intended for you to be. If we are honest, sometimes we get derailed by  circumstances , past failure and disappointments. Goals help to refocus our energy from  disappointments to hope and peace. Whatever it is that you seek out to do, seek it out with a  boldness knowing who your Shepherd is; as per Psalms 23 , the Lord is my Shepherd. Let’s refocus  our mind and operate under the truths set forth in the Bible. To accomplish your goals, remember  this : vision, discipline and purpose.

As per Joel Olsteen, God doesn’t want you to stay in your cocoon.  He didn’t create you to crawl and squirm. He created you to soar.

Anyone can be redefined with courageous and fearless intentional pursuits. How? God is the Wind,  we are Kites, this is how WE RISE. “He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly and tread  safely on paths of testing and trouble]; He sets me [securely] upon my high places. Psalm 18.33 AMP
